Welcome to my website where you can see examples of my work, a mixture of commercial and personal projects, mostly retouching with some 3D graphics and visuals. I have two pages of content, one with breakdowns and/or associated images and a further selection as a simple slideshow.
I have been retouching since the mid 90s and dabbling with 3D for the last ten years or so. Working for both photographers and agencies I’ve covered most things in that time, with an emphasis on still life including lots of drinks. I guess my favourite thing is when the two cross over and I get to use a bit of 3D in my retouching projects, adding backgrounds, sets, logos, reflections etc.
Working remotely since 2008 I use all the usual Adobe software on both Mac and PC, I’m using Cinema 4D R18 for my 3D with the recent addition of Octane render. I also shoot the occasional packshot in my small tabletop lounge studio.
Originally trained in photography, retouching came along at just the right time for me and Ive never looked back. Starting out with film scans and somewhat underpowered desktop computers, I’ve worked thru the adoption of digital photography and the rapid advancement of computers and software to the current situation where we have almost unlimited computing power and amazing software not to mention the advancement of AI and all that it may offer in future years.
An experienced professional with over 30 years working in the photographic industry I like to think no job is too big or too small with each project receiving my undivided attention.
