Guiness paddle
Another project with multiple SKUs and a few different sets, the major part of the work was preparing all the spritzed cutouts. My usual method for spritzed items is to use the path tool and a hard edged paint brush, it takes some time but experience tells me you rarely get a clean cutout when using the automated tools, ie magic wand, quick selection, colour range, focus depth etc, they appear to work but when you look closely there are often bits missing and uneven edge widths and all kinds of other issues that can take ages to repair. I like to draw around the smooth product edges with a path, slicing straight thru the bubbles and then going back around the edge with a paintbrush and painting in all the bubbles separately. This way when you combine the two you end up with a perfect and consistent edge on your mask, you may also need to go in and soften certain areas depending on the depth of field.
