Dimple Pinch

These bottles were really complex to retouch, not only due to the shape and the wire binding but also the very complex labels. The first part of the job was to blend together the photographers various lighting exposures behind the wires which needed a really careful cutout. The labels were actually really badly damaged in places and hard to read in others as the centre part was on a vinyl sticker with quite fine type. As we had access to the artwork we decided to recreate them from scratch. Nowadays I would probably do the labels in 3D but this was before the start of my 3D adventure and so they were done in pshop with lots of different layers to create the embossing and gold textures. Complex in themselves it did simplify the job by removing the label photography form the lighting of the glass elements. With two SKUs and two angles it was a fair sized job.
